Jacqueline qualified with a Masters of Osteopathy degree from the University College of Osteopathy. She is registered with the General Osteopathic Council and a member of the Institute of Osteopathy.
She gained a wealth of experience working prior to, and alongside studying for her degree, as a rehab support worker within the NHS. This involved working within a multidisciplinary team in a community and an acute orthopaedic ward setting. Here Jacqueline was able to develop a greater understanding on working with each individual, how to best inform treatment, provide a professional, safe and caring environment, and to be able to discuss their concerns without judgement.
Jacqueline listens carefully to a patient’s presenting complaint and concerns and this enables her to work collaboratively with each person using a personalised management plan directed towards their own goals and expectations.
She uses a range of traditional Osteopathic techniques including articulations, manipulations and soft tissue to address pain, alongside utilising contemporary evidence based research to inform her practice.
Jacqueline specialises in the treatment of:-
